sat 24th March : dalia and craig’s wee bairns dance No.2 : a fundraiser for the new member of clan mccraig

We are inviting you to our home on Saturday the 24th of March for another celebration and fund raiser, just like Obi’s.

We are expecting another wee mccraig in mid april and hope to have  independent midwife, Val, present again, which guarantees a chance of a natural home birth. We would also like to rent a self-heating birthing pool.

We’re asking you to support us by coming to have lots of fun, and to give eight pounds towards the event, which will include live music, children’s entertainment, DJ’s, dancing, games, meditations, naughty nibbles, bar, a seriously good raffle, art sale and fancy dress to the theme ‘super hero’.

Proceedings will begin at four pm with two childrens entertainers  and face painting, followed by a shared meal (please bring a dish!) and then live music will commence at six. Dancing shall be in full swing by nine.

We will be giving 10% of whatever we raise to the charity Independent Midwives UK, to support their campaign to save independent midwifery.

the midwife had nowhere left to run : it was time to face the music

saturday the 24st of march is here and we’ve been organising hard in preparation for the wee bairn dance

how to get here : follow the map. if you need old fashioned directions, email craig at mccraig dot net , call craig on 07970 277 659, dalia on 07826 323 155 or the house on 01273 842 317

Parking. If ya early take up a spot on drive. If there are issues we can pick up from the village hall car park, 5 mins walk from our house through beautiful nature, Bring a torch. We can pick up from Hassocks station too. x

how much : tickets are £8, either on the door or in advance from paypal

random things to remember

• we’re starting early, so kids are welcome
• fancy dress : bring your inner super hero!
• change for raffle and naughty nibbles
• slippers [and a pipe], or soft shoes : our wooden floors don’t like hard shoes
• there is food to share at 6, so bring some food if you’re coming early

help us buy a tiny wee midwife to keep in the cupboard

we want to have the next member of the clan mccraig delivered at home, and the best way to ensure this is to hire an independent midwife

the only difficulty is that we’re skint right now, and midwifes unfortunately need to eat too

therefore, we’re going to have a fundraiser to help us pay for a midwife
